Scotland Yards’ mission is to provide idyllic vacation destinations for its clients, treating them as though they were part of the family that created it.

Our community began with a dream for our creator, Peggy Binzel, to escape from the maladies of Washington, D.C, and venture to a remote alcove of relaxation and carefree sunsets within reasonable commuting distance. Peggy longed to give to others the same scenic respite she herself was able to gain from her vacation home, and thus the premise of Scotland Yards was born.

Now celebrating 15 years of serving within the Chesapeake Bay area of Scotland, Maryland, Scotland Yards’ humble beginnings are reminiscent of the 10 years the family spent together in Scotland, UK. Nostalgic childhood memories govern the rentals in their ideals and capacities. Most of the rentals offered in our community are large enough to accommodate large families, though the selections are also scaled enough to welcome an adventurous individual seeking a memorable getaway.
